Eugene's Lot in Life by Eric Blair Type: Short play There are few who have not heard the story of Sodom and Gomorrah: the tale of two cities so corrupt and wicked that God wiped them from the face of the earth. Most also know it as a story of salvation, the story of Lot, a righteous, who was spared God's wrath and allowed to escape Sodom before its destruction. But few know the story of Eugene Kerplotnik, Lot's apprentice who happened to be visiting the night Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. Half the Rent by John DiFelice Type: Full-length T.J. is in the middle of a quarter-life crisis. He hates his job at Steinman rare books; his ultra-feminist boss emasculates him daily in front of his coworker and love interest, Susan. When he thinks life can’t get worse, his roommate moves out suddenly leaving him two weeks to find a new place to live. As he drowns his sorrows in a local pub, a chance encounter seems to provide his salvation: a beautiful, upscale apartment on Rittenhouse Square for relative peanuts. There’s only one catch: he must share the apartment with an adult entertainment website. Ratner and the Redeemer by Ron Micci Type: Short play A middle-aged man confronts the futility of life, the stupidity of our leadership, and the problem of hair loss. Semblable by Eric J. Salonis Type: Full-length A quasi-Absurdist-pseudo-tragicomedy in three acts SUMMER ROSES IN WINTER by Ken Gaertner Type: One-act THE ACCOUNTING by Jerry Hyman Type: One-act Two brothers, one in critical condition after a stroke. The second, the older brother, comes to the hospital for a visit. Their relationship and shared past experiences are brought out.
